LanAgent - The instruction on installation |

Program structure |
| The program consists of two parts: the client part (agent)
and the administrator part. The administrator part is installed on the
administrator's computer, agents are installed on users' computers. Archive contents: Admin43.exe - installation file of the administrator part of LanAgent. User43.msi - file for local agent installation for Windows XP/2003/2008/Vista/7. It can be also used for agent installation by Active Directory tools. Administrator (main) part of LanAgent already contains all files necessary for agent remote installation. In order to perform a remote installation on Windows Vista or 7 certain conditions must be met. For details see “Solving remote installation problems” section at help file. Installing |
| Installing the administrator part To install the administrator (main) part of the program, just run the file "admin.exe" on the computer that you are going to use for administration and viewing logs and follow the instructions of the installation wizard. Local agent installation Copy and run the “user43.msi” file on user’s computer and follow the instructions of the installation wizard.
Removing of the administrator part Run the uninstalling program "Start->Programs->LanAgent->Uninstall LanAgent". Or use the "Add and remove programs" utility. Agents removing To Uninstall agent, copy and run
“user43.msi” file on user’s
computer. Then select "Remove".
